DeskBotHQ Connector — Download and Setup

For DeskBotHQ 3.0 on iPhone and Android. This free connector links your phone to compatible DeskBot software on your own computer. Version 3.0 store availability may vary while updates are reviewed.

The ZIP includes the connector, a Mac launcher, a Windows launcher and the complete SETUP.md guide. It contains no broker credentials and needs no third-party Python packages.

What you need

  • DeskBot V3 for Kalshi and/or DeskBot Stocks for Robinhood running on your computer.
  • Python installed on that computer, plus Tailscale on both computer and phone.
  • An active DeskBotHQ Pro mobile subscription to connect. One $9.99/month US subscription unlocks both mobile desks; your store displays its current price. Desktop software, desktop licences and broker accounts are separate.

Connect your phone

  1. Extract the ZIP and read SETUP.md. Edit the launcher for your desktop dashboard ports and your computer's Tailscale HTTPS name. The usual dashboard ports are 8852 for customer DeskBot V3 and 8877 for DeskBot Stocks; use your actual app settings.
  2. Run the Mac or Windows launcher. The connector listens only on your computer at 127.0.0.1:8890. A Robinhood desktop dashboard password, if requested, stays in connector memory and is not sent to the phone.
  3. Enable HTTPS certificates in your own Tailscale account and use Tailscale Serve to make the connector available privately to your Tailscale devices: tailscale serve --bg --https=443 http://127.0.0.1:8890. Do not use Tailscale Funnel.
  4. From the extracted connector folder, run python3 -m deskbot_connector pair --desks kalshi,robinhood on Mac, or use py in place of python3 on Windows. If using only one desk, name only that desk.
  5. Open DeskBotHQ 3.0 on your phone, choose the desk, subscribe or restore, and enter your private HTTPS address and the one-time pairing code. Both devices must be on your Tailscale network.

Optional phone controls

Normal pairing gives the phone viewing access. To enable supported settings and controls, pair using --controls and type ALLOW CONTROLS on your computer. Going live still requires the desktop app's licence checks, consent and confirmations. Broker sign-in, broker keys, account selection and desktop licence entry stay on the computer. No controls change automatically.

Remove a phone

Use Unpair in the app, or python3 -m deskbot_connector devices and python3 -m deskbot_connector revoke DEVICE_ID on your computer. revoke-all removes all phone pairings. The full guide in the ZIP includes troubleshooting.
