Set up Kalshi on Mac — Intel.
This walkthrough covers the Multi15 Kalshi 1.x package. If your download says DeskBot V3 2.0.0, use its included README and the version notes in Dashboard & settings.
1. Download the right copy
Open Apple menu → About This Mac. A Processor field naming Intel means you need the Intel package. Double-click the downloaded ZIP and keep the extracted folder together. Download from your order’s delivery link. If it is missing, check Spam and your order page, then contact support with your order number.
2. Open the launcher
Open Start Multi15 Kalshi.command in the extracted package. If your package uses a slightly different launcher name, follow its included README. Keep the app’s terminal window open. The packaged Multi15 desktop build includes its runtime; it is different from Robinhood’s Python source beta.
If your system blocks the file or reports it damaged, record the exact message and contact support. Do not turn off system-wide security protections.
3. Open the local dashboard
Use the address printed by the launcher. Multi15 normally uses http://127.0.0.1:8821. Open it on the same computer running the app. Initial discovery can take around two minutes; leave the launcher open and look for any error.
4. Set up your own access
Use the license panel for the key format provided with your order. Kalshi account connection is separate: the Multi15 setup asks for your Kalshi API key ID and the path to the private-key file Kalshi gave you. Keep that file private and on your computer; do not paste it into support chat.
5. Check what the dashboard shows
Confirm that the app can see markets, its health information, and the selected settings. Opening the dashboard does not prove that an order was placed. Continue to dashboard and settings →
If it won’t open
Confirm that extraction finished, that the correct platform was downloaded, and that all files remain together. Do not open a second copy to fix a port conflict. See troubleshooting.
Need a hand? Contact support. Include the app name, version, computer or phone type, exact error, and steps that caused it. Hide account details in screenshots. Never send passwords, API keys, private-key files, setup codes, or subscription tokens.
