Android: DeskBotHQ setup

Support Center · Updated November 1, 2026

Set up DeskBotHQ on Android.

For the current Google Play companion and Multi15 Kalshi 1.x. This is separate from the desktop subscription.

1. Install the official app

Open DeskBotHQ on Google Play. Check the package name com.deskbot.multi15. Use the store listing’s device compatibility information.

2. Explore the demo

On the connect screen, tap Try the demo. It uses sample data. Disabled controls in demo are expected; demo figures are not real performance.

3. Start your own computer’s engine

Confirm the Multi15 dashboard opens on your Mac or PC first. Keep the computer awake and the app running. The current companion expects Multi15’s API, not the separate Robinhood beta or V3 dashboard.

4. Enter your engine address

Tap Connect or Change engine address. Use the address of your own computer on a connection already configured for private access. A typical local address is http://192.168.1.20:8821; this is an example, not your address. 127.0.0.1 on the phone points to the phone, so it cannot reach your computer.

Your phone and computer need to be on the same reachable private network, or use an already-configured private VPN such as Tailscale. Do not forward the dashboard port to the public internet or remove authentication. If the desktop permits only local access, contact support for the procedure for that release before changing it.

5. Check Pro access

The free demo does not require a purchase. Connecting to your own engine uses DeskBotHQ Pro through Google Play; review the price and renewal terms shown in the app. A desktop purchase is not proof of a Google Play entitlement. Use Restore purchases if you already subscribed with the same Play account.

6. Check the connection

Look for fresh market data and engine health. Engine DOWN or repeated connection errors mean the app is not receiving a working engine response. Settings saved on a connected companion affect the computer’s engine; demo settings are disabled.

Maintenance and troubleshooting

Update through Google Play. If connection fails, check the desktop dashboard, computer sleep, private network, address and port before reinstalling. If data looks frozen, verify its timestamp. Manage mobile subscriptions in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

Contact support with your app version, device type, exact error, and steps to reproduce it. Hide account details in screenshots. Never send passwords, API keys, private-key files, setup codes, or subscription tokens.
