What the auto trading does on OKX

The engine trades the instrument you selected through your own key, secret and passphrase. Spot is the default and stays the default: it will not route an order to a margined or derivative instrument unless you have deliberately turned that on. Instrument specifications are read from the exchange rather than assumed, so contract sizes, tick sizes and lot increments come from the venue itself. The engine also runs against the platform's demo environment, which means you can watch a full session against simulated balances before you point it at real money.

What the AI research reads

The research layer reads the OKX book and trade feed for your instrument. Because this venue carries spot and perpetual markets on the same underlying, the research can look at both: where the spot book is resting, and what the derivative side is paying to stay positioned, using the disagreement between them as information. That read is written to your dashboard with its reasoning, and it is research, not a prediction of what happens next.
