What the auto trading does on Luno

The engine works the one pair you selected on your own API key. It sizes and reports in that pair's local currency, because that is what the account holds and what the risk is denominated in. Local books vary enormously in depth - a rand book and a shilling book are not the same trading problem - so the build reads resting depth before it sizes rather than assuming a size that works on one will work on the other. Per-pair minimums and precision come from Luno.

What the AI research reads

The research layer reads Luno's own tape for your pair: print size and frequency, local-currency volume against a normal day, depth either side of the touch, and recent hours against the longer trend. Because a naira or ringgit price can move on the currency alone, the coin's dollar reference sits beside the local price rather than merged into it.
