Jupiter is Solana's routing layer rather than a single pool: it quotes across the chain's automated market makers and returns a route. There is no account and no custody, yours or ours. What the auto trading does on Jupiter

The engine asks Jupiter for a quote and a swap transaction, then signs it locally with your wallet and sends it through your own RPC endpoint; DeskBot never holds your keys or moves your funds. What goes wrong on Solana is usually not a bad fill but a transaction that never lands, so the build sets a compute unit limit and a priority fee sized to the current fee market, retries with a fresh blockhash when one expires, and - the part most bots get wrong - treats an unlanded transaction as unfilled rather than assuming it now holds a position. Your slippage tolerance is enforced inside the transaction itself.

What the AI research reads

The research layer reads how much size a route can take before impact exceeds your limit, how many hops it uses, the state of the priority fee market, and the pair's session volume and print pattern - including the times it chose not to send.
