Gate lists more assets than almost anywhere - thousands of pairs, many with next to no depth behind them. A listing existing is not the same as a market you can put size into, and this build treats that gap as the central problem. Gate does not serve US users. If you are in the United States, take a venue that can take you - Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, Binance.US and Bitstamp each have their own DeskBot build.

What the auto trading does on Gate.io

The engine trades through your own key on Gate's v4 API, which signs each request with a key header, a timestamp and a signature over a hash of the body. Spot, margin and perpetual are separate endpoint families and the build keeps them apart. It reads each pair's own minimum base amount and minimum quote amount rather than applying one threshold across a market where they differ by orders of magnitude. Before sending it checks the resting book against your size and slippage limit, and where the book cannot absorb the order it declines instead of walking the price up.

What the AI research reads

The research layer is mostly in the business of telling a real market from a listed one: print count rather than headline volume, how many price levels were genuinely touched, and how often the book is empty inside your working distance.
