Bitpanda is an Austrian retail broker and it does not work like an order book. There are no limit orders to rest and no depth to read, because you are not trading against other customers. Its public API executes through quotes: you request a commercial quote for a size, then accept it or let it lapse. This build is written to that model rather than pretending an exchange is underneath.

Nothing is scoped or constructed after you order. The build already exists; you install it, you set it up and you choose your settings.

What the auto trading does on Bitpanda

The engine requests a quote for your asset and size on your own API key, which must carry the Trade (Write) permission Bitpanda issues separately from read access. It checks the quoted price against the reference market before accepting, so a quote that drifted in flight lapses rather than being taken blind. A quote lives seconds, so the accept is the decision point.

What the AI research reads

There is no Bitpanda order book to read, so the research layer reads the reference market for your asset - print size, volume against a normal day, developing range and trend - then measures the spread Bitpanda is quoting against that reference, so you can see what the convenience costs per trade.

Before you buy. Bitpanda executes against its own quotes. There are no limit orders, no resting stops and no order book, so any protective level runs on your machine and is only as available as your machine is.
