VALR has the widest instrument list of any South African venue: 409 live pairs on its public API, of which 171 are USDC-quoted, 83 USDT, 77 bitcoin, 48 ether, twenty-four rand and three Zambian kwacha. Read that mix carefully - most of VALR is a crypto-quoted exchange with a rand on-ramp attached, not a rand exchange.

Nothing is scoped or constructed after you order. The build already exists; you install it, you set it up and you choose your settings.

What the auto trading does on VALR

It is not carried in the current CCXT master list, so this build is written straight to VALR's own published API. VALR gives per-pair minimums, tick size and decimal places, and the build reads every one from the venue - a rand book with a tick size of one and a USDC book with eight decimals cannot share an assumption. Margin is left off unless you turn it on, and when it is on VALR's own initial, maintenance and auto-close fractions are read rather than estimated.

What the AI research reads

The research layer reads VALR's own tape for your pair: print size and frequency, quote-currency volume against a normal day, depth either side of the touch, and recent hours against the longer trend. On a rand book the dollar reference sits alongside, so a coin move and a rand move are never read as the same thing.

Before you buy. Margin trading on VALR is leveraged and can be auto-closed by the exchange. Losses can exceed what you put up.
