Uniswap is not an exchange account and nobody holds your money. It is a set of permissionless contracts on Ethereum and several layer twos, reached from your own wallet: v2 pools are constant product, v3 concentrates liquidity into fee tiers, v4 puts pools behind one contract with hooks. Gas and slippage are yours, not ours. Front ends may restrict access by region and your own compliance is your responsibility.

What the auto trading does on Uniswap

The engine builds and signs each swap locally against the router with the slippage tolerance and deadline you set; DeskBot never holds your keys or moves your funds. It sizes against real pool depth, because price impact in an automated market maker is a property of the pool rather than the market - the order that barely moves a deep pool is a donation in a shallow one. It compares fee tiers and routes to the one that costs less after impact. Token approvals are explicit and scoped, not an unlimited allowance by default. Because the mempool is public and a large swap can be sandwiched, size and slippage are capped and it will hold rather than send.

What the AI research reads

The research layer reads pool reserves and concentrated-liquidity depth around the current price, how much size the pool absorbs before your impact limit, the fee tier picture, and the gas market against the edge the trade is meant to capture.
