Hyperliquid is a perpetuals venue with a fully on-chain central limit order book on its own layer one. There is no account and no API key in the usual sense - you sign with a wallet. The official front end geo-blocks US addresses and its terms name US persons as restricted, so treat it as closed if you are in the United States. If you are in the United States, take a venue that can take you - Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, Binance.US and Bitstamp each have their own DeskBot build.

What the auto trading does on Hyperliquid

The engine signs orders with an approved API wallet - an agent key you authorise that can trade but cannot withdraw - so your main wallet key never sits on the trading machine. DeskBot never holds your keys or moves your funds. There is no per-order gas to budget for, which changes what a sane cancel-and-replace rate looks like against an EVM venue. Funding here is paid every hour rather than every eight, so carry accumulates far faster than most bots assume, and the engine prices holding cost on the real schedule.

What the AI research reads

Because the book is on-chain, the research layer can read what is simply not public on a custodial venue: actual resting size at each level, how quickly levels are replaced, open interest, and funding against its own recent range.
