dYdX v4 is not a contract deployed on somebody else's chain. It is its own chain, where validators hold the order book and matching happens inside the protocol, with USDC-margined perpetuals and no gas charged per trade. dYdX states its products are not available to persons in the United States or Canada and the front end enforces that. If you are in the United States, take a venue that can take you - Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, Binance.US and Bitstamp each have their own DeskBot build.

Nothing is scoped or constructed after you order. The build already exists; you set it up and choose your settings.

What the auto trading does on dYdX

What decides whether a bot works here is which kind of order it sends. Short-term orders live in validators' memory and expire within a small number of blocks; long-term, stateful orders are committed on chain and survive. Send the wrong one and your resting bracket quietly vanishes seconds later. This build chooses deliberately - short-term for anything it means to cancel and replace quickly, stateful for orders that must stay - and tells you which it used. It signs with a wallet you control, reads fills from the indexer, and reads positions and margin from the chain. DeskBot never holds your keys.

What the AI research reads

The research layer reads the book and the tape on your market: resting size at distance, how fast levels refresh, funding against its recent range, and open interest changes.
