The DOT concept focuses on making release progress understandable. Its product page should distinguish a planned interface, a tested download and an available customer release.
What needs to be established
Keep DOT release notes aligned with the actual download and verified platform scope. No customer release date, supported trading venue, instrument, strategy or performance result has been confirmed.
Calibration questions for DOT
How much usable DOT history would be needed to evaluate a proposed configuration, and how would gaps or inconsistent records be handled? These are planning questions, not implemented strategies or confirmed integrations.
Different markets need different setups
A dedicated DOT product requires its own configuration review and testing. Bitcoin settings will not automatically be treated as suitable for DOT. Markets change; no settings profile is perfect for every condition.
